Charlotte Kuchinsky

I'm a 61 year-old grandmother and mother of two. I'm from a military family and my husband is ex-military as well. I have worked since I was nine, taking care of my siblings so my mother could work two or three jobs to care for us. I'm the oldest of four daughters. My twin sisters are nine years younger than me and my baby sister is 18 years younger. I also helped raise two cousins for 8 years.

My background is in business and education. I wrote curriculum for colleges and universities and training manuals for business. I counseled small business start-ups for 10 years as part of the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center. I also helped small businesses expand and grow, working with loans and business plans. Additionally, I owned my own management, marketing and training company working with larger businesses.

I had my own business column in a hometown newspaper and have also written for magazines and other newspapers. I'm currently a principal writer for a British-based beauty site and a freelance writer on the net. I am currently working on a book of poetry and a children's book.
